Iflag’s eBay Italy Auctions Services is a service that we provide to non-Italians due to their difficult in dealing with Italian sellers directly. Iflag has no financial or legal relationship whatsoever with eBay Italia or the sellers who put their items on auction for sale. Iflag will not be responsible, explicitly or implicitly, for any item on sale at eBay Italy. For example, if the seller doesn’t send the product after Iflag makes the payment or if the item is not what the seller advertises or if the item gets damaged or lost, Iflag will not be responsible. We will pursue the case with eBay Italy Auctions but we cannot be held responsible for this and we will not refund the money to our foreign clients who become victims of fraud. If item(s) are lost, damaged or any other situation that may arise, please make a claim to your shipping service and get something in writing from them. Then inform us about the situation as soon as possible. We will try to help if we can but we are not making any promises, whether explicitly or implicitly. Iflag is not responsible for any kind of loss or damage to your items. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and the right to cancel your account at any time if we have reason to believe you have abused any of the rules, and/or terms of service. Anyone who abuses our system will be permanently banned. By signing up for an account on Iflag you accept and agree to these terms and those stated in the terms of service. In the event of a natural disaster, robbery or circumstances beyond our control, your items being held at Iflag’s properties are NOT covered or insured. The account created in  your name is completely your responsibility and you are therefore responsible for the items you bid on. Every country has its own laws regarding the importation of materials and we are not able to know them all, therefore as an intermediary service we are limited as to what we can send; if the package is stopped or sent back in that it cannot be imported into your country Iflag is not responsible whatsoever and if there are further costs for re-entering they will be charged to you. Please read your auctions carefully. Any damage is listed in the auction. 3) You received something you do not want. Iflag is not responsible if you do not understand the Italian language. Please use the translator links we have provided or your Italian friends. We are not affiliated with any translators on this site and do not support them. Please also see our Tutorial section for examples of scams, sellers with negative feedback & more. 4) If the seller sends a different item from that which you have purchased , Iflag will request that the correct goods be sent, if however the seller does not do so, we will send you what the seller has sent us. This disclaimer is also located in the Terms of Service. BUYERS BEWARE FEEDBACK As with every auction site you must be very careful when placing bids. Place bids only with those sellers who have been registered for a long period of time and with 100% positive feedback.  To find out about seller’s feedback please see our Tutorial section. SCAMS There are many auctions for scams that do not sell an actual item, but sell information on how to get an item.  If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.  You must be responsible for understanding the Italian description on the auction you are bidding on. ADVERTISING AUCTIONS Although banned on eBay, there are auctions where some sellers look for items and put them on a wish list in the auction asking that you do not bid.  If you bid the seller can ask for a commission of 5% of the total final price and in some cases can leave negative feedback. This can be settled by writing to the staff at eBay, asking for the negative feedback to be removed and noting the unprofessional and unfair conduct of the seller.  In the event that this happens, which requires time and work on our part, we will charge you €20. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE Like other auctions sites, eBay is a place where you can save money, however be warned that if an item which normally costs €2000 is being offered at €200 you are undoubtedly being conned. AUTO BIDDING On eBay, as with other auction sites, there are sellers without scruples who will raise the auction price using another account.  Please be cautious and think hard before bidding on eBay Italia. Iflag is absolutely not responsible should you become victim to these kinds of sellers.  Please do not complain to us.  The best way to avoid these scams is to bid with trustworthy, professional sellers who have a high number of positive only feedback.
