Joining fee:
there is a one time joining fee of €10. It must be paid by credit card or PayPal so that we can verify your credit card information for future transactions.
These are all the fees you will be charged for each auction:
Seller payment fee: €1.80
(On the invoice this may be indicated as SPF or bank fee)
Normally sellers on eBay want to be paid with a bank transfer or rechargeable Postepay which means there is a fee to be paid for sending the payment. In the case of combining auctions and if the seller accepts combining delivery and payment this fee will be charged once only (see the section on combined auctions for further information).
Delivery in Italy: price varies from €4.05
This is the price of delivery from the seller to us. Seeing as many sellers do not ship overseas this is a necessary part of your item's journey from eBay to you.
The best delivery service in Italy, traceable, fast, secure and insurable with a flat rate of €9.10 for up to 30Kg that delivers within 3 working days is called J+3. This is the preferred service of most sellers in Italy precisely for the reasons listed above. The cost also depends on the materials you use. There is also registered mail which is about half price but with strict limits on weight and size. There is also priority mail for small items though they are not traceable. Remember however that it's the seller who chooses the method of delivery, some may insist on insurance, others use recorded delivery or COD, so delivery costs can vary.
In the case of combining auctions and if the seller accepts combining delivery and payment this fee will be charged once only (see the section on combined auctions for further information).
Our profit margin (mark up): from €5
This is where our business comes from. We charge a flat rate of €10 for every €70 increments on the final auction price as long as your final price is not less than €7, in which case our rate is €5. Please refer to the table below:

Delivery to you: from €12
Shipping from Italy is usually done by EMS (which in Italy has an agreement with FedEx) and is our preferred service in as such as it is traceable and fast. The lighter the package the cheaper the delivery whilst heavier items bring the price up. Heavier items can also be sent in other ways which will increase delivery time but decrease the cost. If, as mentioned above, you make no specific requests as to delivery method, we will include on our shipping invoice the weight and price of the package, that way you can decide if you would like to use a different method. If however you make a request using the shipping form you can then select your preferred method of delivery.
To see weight, size and delivery time costs please refer to the shipping table.
The shipping fee will be charged only once if a number of auctions have been won through one seller in a short period of time (see the Combining Auctions Section). We however do not advise you to ship fragile objects (such as glasses, Murano glass, etc.) together with heavier objects. We remind you that the shipping and handling cost for each parcel is €8.This covers materials such as boxes, tape, packing and the time going to the post office etc.
Handling and Storage fee for bulky items: €10
Should we have difficulty in storing very bulky items a fee of €10 will be charged for each heavy or very large item (such as very large soft toys, art pieces and so on). If you are therefore not sure whether or not your item fits into this category please ask.
Combined Auctions:
When possible (and when the seller permits) if you win more than one item from the same seller the same day we try to combine the auctions to help you save. For example, if you win 3 items from the same seller the same day only one fee is paid to the seller (bank fee SPF) and only one shipping fee is charged within Italy.
Please consider however that a seller on eBay may want to be paid immediately after the auction, in which case we would not be able to combine the fees and you would be required to pay on each auction. Please take note that this does not apply to our mark up fees; we must charge a minimum of €5 for each auction won, even if you have won on the same day with the same seller with whom you have won other auctions. It is not important who the seller is. Each auction involves a certain amount of work on our part and we must therefore cover our costs in order to continue to help you win the auction.
Penalties for late payment:
As you can imagine late payments create some difficulties so please pay as soon as you have received our invoice. All final auction prices, commission and fees which are not paid within 48 hours are subject to additional costs. The penalty for late payment is a minimum of €7 or 10% of the total final auction price or whichever of the two is the greatest. This sum could be increased if the items are particularly big or bulky. If an invoice is left completely or partially unpaid for a period of time and the items have already been paid by us, it will be assumed you have abandoned your purchase, in which case the items will become exclusively our property and we can make arrangements at our discretion or if the item has not been bought you will nevertheless be charged a penalty of €100.
We are sorry to have to implement late penalty fees and sincerely hope they never have to be enforced.
That's it. If you are ready to bid or have other questions about our fees system please ask.
